Christmas, it’s the most wonderful time of the year. Holidays, gifts, shared meals, and sparkling light displays; there’s so much to enjoy during the festive season. Still, the joy of Christmas springs from a much richer and more wonderful reality: God has come to us through the birth of Jesus.

God so loved the world, that he gave His son, Jesus, for us and for our sakes. It’s a truth so wonderful that though it’s celebrated every year, it never grows old. Because of Jesus we know God is not distant or detached. Rather, He is “Emmanuel”, God with us. In a world marked by uncertainty and anxiety, in the truth of Christmas our hearts are assured we are known, understood, and loved by God.
