Semester One Subjects

Advanced Leadership (14 weeks)

Advanced Leadership teaches proven leadership principles that will help the student to further develop their ability to effectively lead individuals and teams within the context of the local church.

Christology (14 weeks)

Christology, the study of Jesus Christ, is a detailed study into both the person and works of Jesus Christ.  This course seeks to explain the nature of the Son of God; His pre-existent divinity, humanity and sinless life.  These build a foundation to understand His life, death and resurrection; the completed work of salvation, as well as His present ministry today.

Romans (14 weeks)

With a combination of in-depth teaching and practical experience this class prepares the individual to communicate in an effective and relevant manner in a variety of different contexts

 Effective Preaching (14 weeks)

With a combination of in-depth teaching and practical experience this class prepares the individual to communicate in an effective and relevant manner in a variety of different contexts.

Semester Two Subjects

Genesis (14 weeks)

This subject covers the themes and events in the book of Genesis paying attention to the cultural and historical context along with the relevance and application today.

Understanding Your Gift (7 weeks)

This subject serves to provide students with an understanding of gifts in individual and local church context by outlining scriptural teaching on the topics. Ascension gifts, spiritual gifts and motivational gifts will be explained along with their application within the context of a local church. In this way Understanding Your Gift combines both doctrine and practice.

Ethics (7 weeks)

This subject provides a basis for ethical theory and encourages students to apply what they believe to ethic topics like bio life and science, business and sexuality.

Advanced Pastoral Care (14 weeks)

With a combination of lectures and classroom discussions, this subject prepares the aspiring minister with a biblical framework of understanding, pastoral ministry wisdom and practical skills to operate in a pastoral leadership capacity in a local church context.
